Sustained Visions (SUSVI) and DAL Teknik Makina (DAL) have completed the kiln line upgrade at Gazakh Cement plant in Azerbaijan despite the COVID-19 restrictions. Kiln Line No1 at the plant was built by a Chinese OEM and commissioned in 2013 with a clinker production capacity of 2400tpd. The Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation OJSC has merged two of its businesses. The Akkord Concrete LLC and Gazakh Cement plant LLC have been merged, according to a news report from the Azeri-Press Agency. Akkord completes second phase of Gazakh plant

Akkord has announced the successful completion of Phase 2 of its Gazakh Cement plant with the participation of the International Bank of Azerbaijan. Last week, Gazakh Cement started clinker production of a new line which is expected to reach its full capacity of 2500tpd by October. Akkord Cement is preparing to more than double capacity at its recently-launched Gazakh Cement plant in Azerbaijan over the next three years.
